Set up your Scenario
Add the card: In the content editor, select Add card and choose the Scenario card
Select a Scenario: Choose chat for text-based messaging scenarios or voice for real-time spoken practice
Describe the scenario: Outline the scenario learners will practice to set the stage for an engaging simulation.
(Optional) Add context: To deepen the realism of the simulation, you can add:

Define the learner’s role: Specify the learner's role in the scenario (e.g., sales representative, interviewer, leader).
Add completion criteria: Identify what learners should accomplish for success in the scenario.
Customize your AI character: Set the AI’s character to match the scenario and complement the learner’s role. You can customize the name, upload or choose an image, as well as select the language and voice (for phone call scenario).
Choose AI character's personality: Select the AI's behavior between:
Easy-going: Cooperative & friendly
Pragmatic: Neutral & calm
Difficult: Uncooperative and Upset
Add your AI character's role: Describe their role in the scenario
Click Generate simulation
... And you're done!
Edit Scenario Prompt
(Optional) Once the scenario card is generated, click edit prompt to make changes to the role, scenario, rules/constraints of both the learner's and AI character's role.
If needed, modify the generated scenario title and description to your liking
Learner's perspective
Chat: Text-Based Messaging
When entering the scenario-card, the learner will face the description and goal of the conversation, and will initiate the chat by clicking start conversation.
Voice: Real-time spoken practice
For the voice scenario, the learner will see the description and goal of the conversation, and will:
Click start conversation.
Allow Sana to use your learner's microphone device by accepting the prompt.
Once the conversation starts, learners can easily
mute their microphone
end the call
change their microphone devices or enable captions from the settings modal
After finalizing any scenario, the learner will receive personalized feedback on the interaction based on the scenario set out and the completion criteria. If the learner is not being serious in the scenario, it'll catch you!
💡 The learner needs to go all the way until the end when you say good-bye, and they will get an assessment on their performance.
