Interactive cards in Sana Learn are used to enhance learning experiences and engagement. Designed for active participation and knowledge retention, these cards cater to diverse learning styles, fostering a dynamic and immersive learning environment.

Matrix card
Add a new dimension to learning with our interactive matrix card. Think of it as a sliding scale but with two axes, letting learners plot their position during courses. Simply open the menu by clicking "/" in any Page card, select the Matrix block, and customize your axis labels to create nuanced self-assessment opportunities.
You can use the Matrix as a stand-alone card or as a block in a page card.
Scenario card
The scenario training card enhances courses by allowing users to practice real-life situations with an AI counterpart, providing feedback based on their responses. Admins can customize scenarios with specific context using text inputs or links to Sana content. The card automatically integrates with previous course content.

Drop a word
This card is a delightful icebreaker that lets learners share any thoughts in response to a prompt you set. All other words submitted by learners will drop down in a pile so you can see different responses.
Match the pair question
This question option presents learners with a set of pairs that they need to match correctly. This promotes critical thinking, strengthens memory retention, and offers a visually engaging way to assess and reinforce learning outcomes. You can find this by adding the Question card and selecting Match the pairs from the dropdown menu.
The Reflection Card
Sana's Reflection Cards prompt learners to pause, reflect, and provide thoughtful responses, fostering critical thinking by encouraging users to articulate insights and feedback. These cards enhance the learning experience by promoting a deeper understanding and application of key concepts through reflection and consideration of experiences.
Sana Live: The Notepad Card
With Sana's Notepad feature, learners can efficiently jot down notes, thoughts, and ideas during live sessions. The Notepad serves as a convenient tool for users to summarize key points, capture important information, and effectively manage their thoughts within the learning environment.
Sana Live: The Sticky Notes Card
Sana's Sticky Notes provide an interactive platform for learners to brainstorm, annotate content, and leave quick reminders during sessions, fostering engagement, visual organization, and creativity in note-taking. Users can place virtual sticky notes on relevant content areas, add annotations or comments, and engage in collaborative note-taking activities, enhancing the interactive and engaging nature of the learning experience.
*The sticky notes card has two limitations: 1. Each card can accommodate up to 200 sticky notes and 2.When a session includes more than 180 users, only facilitators are permitted to add or remove notes.
The Sliding Scale
The Sliding Scale presents learners with a visual spectrum to express preferences, opinions, or responses by adjusting a marker along the scale, facilitating active engagement and providing clear visual feedback. Users can indicate their position on the scale to reflect their level of agreement or preference on specific topics or scenarios, allowing for nuanced responses and promoting interactive learning experiences within Sana.
You can also add the sliding scale as a standalone card by clicking Add Card on the left side of the course editor and selecting Sliding Scale.
The Poll Card
This interactive card is designed to engage learners by soliciting their opinions, choices, or feedback through polls. This feature enables educators or trainers to gauge understanding, preferences, or sentiments of learners, fostering a dynamic and participatory learning environment. Or why not just add a check-in poll to ask how everyone is doing today?
By analyzing the aggregated responses, instructors can tailor subsequent content, discussions, or activities to better meet the needs and interests of the learners.
The Q&A Card
The Q&A Card is an interactive tool designed to deepen understanding and encourage curiosity among learners. No question is considered stupid or too small! This feature allows learners to view suggested questions, but also gives them the freedom to ask their own unique questions about the material. The Q&A Card provides the answer and cites the specific card where the information was discussed. This reinforces learning by linking back to the original context, empowering learners to take control of their educational journey and gain a solid understanding and confidence in the material.
The Flip Card
The Flip Card is an interactive tool that engages learners by presenting questions or prompts on one side and corresponding answers or information on the other side. It not only allows for the variation in how information is conveyed but also adds elements of engagement and interaction as learners have to flip the card to reveal the information. By incorporating Flip Cards in a course, you can create a better visual experience for learners while simultaneously making the learning process more interactive, win-win!
The Exercise Card

You can specify what learners need to submit, choose reviewers for the exercises, and monitor submissions as they come in. The survey card is one of many interactive cards available in the course editor designed to help you create customizable surveys directly in a Sana course. No need to use external tools to improve your course's measurability and gather valuable feedback!
Choose from a range of different question types (Single/Multiple choice, Text input, Net promoter score (NPS), Likert/Opinion scale) in the course editor to meet any need for eNPS, pulse checks, pre- and post-course self-assessments.

Privacy options for interactive cards
For Drop a Word, Matrix, Polls, Reflections, Sliding scale, and Survey cards you can indicate how the learners will share their answers. Use the table below to understand the three available privacy options: Anonymous allowed, Named only, and Anonymous only.
