Simply write what you want to know in your own words, and Sana will search for the answer. As you type, relevant content will be displayed instantly, providing quick access to the information you're looking for.
Just type your prompt in the search bar.

If you want to ask something about a specific course in Sana Learn, you can search for the course and choose Ask, and Tutor mode will use the specific course as context for your question.
Tutor mode in Search
Sanaâs Tutor mode is integrated into Search. To use it, follow a similar format to using Search by just writing what you want to know in your own words, but this time, press Learn and Tutor mode will ask follow-up questions and suggest a learning plan based on your prompt.
Type your prompt, hover over Ask or learn in tutor mode and click Learn.
Tutor mode will generate a personalized learning session including a learning path, sources, images, and practice exercises tailored to your needs.

Who can use Search?
Everyone with a Sana account has access to Search and Tutor mode.
However, your search results will only contain information from content you have access to. For example, content you are assigned as a learner or content you have collaborator rights to as an admin.
What content does Search have access to?
Sana Search acts as an intelligent agent dedicated to finding information and providing answers. It independently conducts searches to address your questions, using only content that you, as the user, have access to. This includes all self-paced Sana native courses that you have access to, both in Create and Learn. Its primary goal is to research within your authorized content and deliver accurate, relevant answers to your inquiries.
What model is used?
The answers are based on the model GPT4.1. However, as we are continuously striving for the assistant to perform in the best and most accurate way possible, we are model agnostic. Meaning, we continuously evaluate models that are part of our sub-processors to ensure the best performance.
Is our data used to train the model?
We never train models on customer data. In some cases, data is processed by third parties (predominantly OpenAI). In such cases, we have a strict zero-day retention policy, which ensures that they will not train on or store the data either. Therefore, all the models that we use enforce a zero-day retention policy.
