Welcome to your guide to understanding and utilizing Sana Home. This feature-rich home page enhances your experience and makes navigating through Sana a breeze.

๐Ÿ’ก On your Sana home you can find all courses that you have access to. This includes courses you are assigned to, that are visible to everyone, or have gained access to via a teamspace

What is Sana Home?

Sana home is the welcome page you are greeted with when you log in and is always accessible from the side bar. It has:

  • Easy navigation icons for various sections such as "To do", "Recommended courses", and so on.

  • Quick access to recent activities and notifications.

  • A personalized greeting based on your profile.

What is the value of the Home Page?

The home page is the heart of the product, and the starting point for activating and engaging learners. Here's why:

  1. Efficiency: It allows you to quickly navigate through the platform, saving time.

  2. User-Friendly: The intuitive design reduces learning curve, making it easier for both new and existing users.

Navigating your Sana Home

Log in to your Sana account and you are greeted with the home page. Here we go into a little more detail about the different sections that appear on your home page

Understanding which courses appear on your home page

  1. You are assigned to the course or are participating in a live session

  2. The course is set to Visible for everyone

  3. It's a published course in a teamspace you are a member of

This section appears at the top of your home, featuring the most crucial learning content assigned to you. The content is arranged in order of due date, from left to right, so you can effectively prioritize your learning tasks. The types of content you will find here include:

  • Self-paced courses you're assigned to

  • Paths you're assigned to

  • Programs you're assigned to

  • Upcoming live sessions you're enrolled in

  • Upcoming in-person events you're enrolled in

Leaderboard (coming soon)

Step into a world of competitive learning with Sana's interactive leaderboard! This real-time ranking board transforms work tasks into exciting challenges, fostering an environment of friendly competition that drives both engagement and productivity.

Itโ€™s more than just a leaderboard, it's the perfect way to bring a dash of fun to your learning journey.

Activity (coming soon)

The activity section on Sana's homepage serves as a dynamic hub for all your personalized notifications, keeping you posted about the latest updates and interactions within the platform.

Whether you've been enrolled in a new course or program, scheduled for a live session, tagged in a comment by a colleague, or a recap of a recent live session is available, all these updates will appear here. By consolidating all these notifications into one accessible spot, Sana ensures you never miss a beat in your learning journey.

It's like having a personal assistant who always keeps you in the loop - except this one doesn't take coffee breaks!

Featuring courses on the Sana homepage offers companies a strategic way to increase course visibility and drive engagement. By highlighting essential or time-sensitive content, companies can direct employees towards relevant courses, promote enrollment, and foster a shared understanding of company culture.

Consider this like a 'recommended for you' Sana uses AI to generate recommendations based on how you interact with Sana and the:

  • courses you're assigned to

  • courses you've completed that you self-started

  • how other learners rate courses you have access to

Upcoming sessions

This section displays all of your upcoming Live or In-person events that you have access to and have the option to enroll in. This could be either events set to:

  • Visible everywhere

  • Assigned to you with 'Let learners self-enroll'

If you are assigned and enrolled to sessions, they appear in To do, if there is no Upcoming sessions section this is because there are no sessions available for you

Your categories

Is a library of content which has been organized into different categories through the process of tagging content

As an admin you can set up tags and add them to courses, learn more here
