Sana Live allows the facilitator to deliver an engaging and interactive presentation tailored to the needs of their learners. As a facilitator, you can take control of the learning experience, presenting your course material in a way that suits you and your audience best!

What is a Facilitator?

A facilitator in a Sana Live session is responsible for guiding and managing the live learning experience. Facilitators have access to several key functionalities and tools they can utilize to ensure the session runs smoothly and effectively.

Facilitator Features in Sana Live

1. Navigate between cards
Facilitators can guide learners through various cards. The facilitator can also ensure everyone is viewing the presented content in real time by selecting "Follow Me" mode where there is option to scroll down further in the card.

2. Manage breakout rooms
Facilitators can enhance interactivity by creating breakout rooms. Rooms can be populated randomly or manually with up to six participants, and facilitators can set a timer for each breakout room session.

3. Set a timer for activities and discussion
Setting a timer allows facilitators to give learners a specific period to engage with interactive elements, like polls or reflection cards, ensuring focused and structured activity time.

4. Record the session
Facilitators have the option to record sessions directly within Sana Live, making it easy to save the session for later review.

5. Edit content in real time
If adjustments are needed, facilitators with edit access to the content can add, edit, or delete cards during a live session. By clicking the pencil icon in the top-centered menu, they can update content without disrupting the session's flow.

6. Enable/disable smart features
Facilitators can choose to enable or disable Sana AI's smart features, such as live transcription and automated summaries, depending on session needs.

7. Make other participants to facilitators
Facilitators can make other participants to facilitators, enabling them to access advanced functionality for a more collaborative experience. This can be done through the participant list in the session.

8. Pin participants for all viewers
Facilitators can highlight a particular participant by pinning their video, making them visible to everyone at the top of the video-bar throughout the session.

Self-paced course

Learners can digest course material in a self-paced course at their own pace. A self-paced course allows for content to be set up in the format of modules and displayed through various cards. Assessments can be placed within these courses to test the learners' ability to understand and retain information. Upon completion of these courses, a certificate acknowledging completion of the course can be issued to the participant.

Live course

A self-paced course can be converted to a 'live' course, where learners and participants can engage with interactive elements of said course through means of unique cards. Facilitators can present their course to a room of learners through a live presentation. You can create a live course in the same way you'd create a self-paced course.
